The Control of Noise at Work Regulation 2005.
From the 6th April 2006 it is a requirment for employers to prevent or reduce risks to health and safety from exposure to noise:
2007/2008 sees the HSE carrying out inspections of woodworking premises looking for evidence that noise risks have been eliminated or reduced to the lowest level that is reasonably practicable.
HSE has also revised 2 wood information sheets (WIS4 &WIS13)
