This course is designed to help individuals understand their responsibilities within the workplace and is aimed at persons working with Woodworking Machinery.
It is a legal requirment under The Provision and Use of Work Equipment 1998 (PUWER) that all staff who use Woodworking Machinery receive training in the Safe use of the machines those persons work on.
The aim of the course is to provide machine woodworking training to comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER)
Range of Machinery
All training is bespoke to the companies requirements and type of work being carried out.
All Woodworking Machinery Courses are run with a maximum of six persons per course.
Course 1
This Course is for persons who have been using Woodworking Machinery for some time and are in need of updating.
CONTENT
Each person will demonstrate their use of each machine during the course.
DURATION
One day for four machines.
Course 2
This Course is as above content, but involves a more in depth training and is designed for persons who have no experience in using Woodworking Machinery.
DURATION
This will depend upon the person requiring the training and the number of machines to be covered.
